About the event
This restorative 2-hour experiential workshop invites counsellors and mental health practitioners to immerse themselves in the principles and practices of Forest Therapy. Through guided mindful wandering, sensory awareness activities, and nature-based mindfulness, you’ll have the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the natural environment, and experience the evidence-based benefits of time in nature.
We’ll cover:
Foundations of Forest Therapy – what it is, where it comes from, and why it supports mental health and wellbeing.
Nature-based mindfulness practices – gentle, accessible techniques to deepen presence and connection.
Applied experience – guided activities that help you personally unwind while gaining insight into how these practices can support clients.
