From Stuck to Breakthrough: Leveraging EMDR to Move Therapy Forward
Many clients hit roadblocks in therapy despite strong rapport and evidence-based interventions. When insight isn’t translating into change, or progress feels stalled, it may signal unprocessed material beneath the surface.
This interactive 3-hour workshop explores how EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can help resolve the underlying blocks that keep clients looping in distress. Participants will receive a clear, accessible overview of the EMDR model, the neurobiological rationale behind its effectiveness, and practical guidance for identifying when EMDR may be indicated.
The training includes case examples and a live demonstration of an EMDR therapy session, giving attendees a real-time look at how the model works in practice and how it can accelerate clinical movement.
